* hurd/Makefile: add new tests * hurd/test-sig-rpc-interrupted.c: check xstate save and restore in the case where a signal is delivered to a thread which is waiting for an rpc. This test implements the rpc interruption protocol used by the hurd servers. It was so far passing on Debian thanks to the local-intr-msg-clobber.diff patch, which is now obsolete. * hurd/test-sig-xstate.c: check xstate save and restore in the case where a signal is delivered to a running thread, making sure that the xstate is modified in the signal handler. * hurd/test-xstate.h: add helpers to test xstate * sysdeps/mach/hurd/i386/bits/sigcontext.h: add xstate to the sigcontext structure. + sysdeps/mach/hurd/i386/sigreturn.c: restore xstate from the saved context * sysdeps/mach/hurd/x86/trampoline.c: save xstate if supported. We used to use .cfi_adjust_cfa_offset around %esp manipulation asm instructions to fix unwinding, but when building glibc with -fno-omit-frame-pointer this is bogus since in that case %ebp is the CFA and does not move. Instead, let's force -fno-omit-frame-pointer when building intr-msg.c so that %ebp can always be used and no .cfi_adjust_cfa_offset is needed.

2019-08-30hurd: Fix timeout handling in _hurd_selectRichard Braun1-1/+2
Rely on servers to implement timeouts, so that very short values (including 0) don't make mach_msg return before valid replies can be received. The purpose of this scheme is to guarantee a full client-server round-trip, whatever the timeout value. When linked statically, TLS initialization is not achieved before mach_init and alike, so ssp accesses to tcbhead's stack_guard would crash. In <https://sourceware.org/ml/libc-alpha/2014-01/msg00196.html> I noted it was necessary to add includes of Makeconfig early in various subdirectory makefiles for the tests-special variable settings added by that patch to be conditional on configuration information. No-one commented on the general question there of whether Makeconfig should always be included immediately after the definition of subdir. This patch implements that early inclusion of Makeconfig in each directory (which is a lot easier than consistent placement of includes of Rules). Includes are added if needed, or moved up if already present. Subdirectory "all:" targets are removed, since Makeconfig provides one. There is potential for further cleanups I haven't done. Rules and Makerules have code such as ifneq "$(findstring env,$(origin headers))" "" headers := endif to override to empty any value of various variables that came from the environment. I think there is a case for Makeconfig setting all the subdirectory variables (other than subdir) to empty to ensure no outside value is going to take effect if a subdirectory fails to define a variable. (A list of such variables, possibly out of date and incomplete, is in manual/maint.texi.) Rules and Makerules would give errors if Makeconfig hadn't already been included, instead of including it themselves. The special code to override values coming from the environment would then be obsolete and could be removed.
